SALES MERCHANDISER - Sunglasses

Sales Merchandiser to help with the execution of our merchandise planning strategy and someone to come in with a strong ability to identify sales opportunities and the ability to create and execute programs to increase sales of existing and new account.

They will be instrumental in ensuring that we always have the right product in the right place, in the right quantities, and at the right price. Connections and relationships in numerous channels of distribution and classes of trade including international , dept store , online , and mass " big box " stores

They will assist in managing inventory levels across the division generating accurate SKU-level forecasts and sell-through projections, and conducting thorough reports on product performance. You'll support in making decisions around the depth and breadth of the buys, based on their sales and knowledge of the eyewear market . They will be ensuring our product assortment and inventory quantities are in line with customer demand and company targets, and supporting the overall growth strategy for the product.

 

Duties:

  • Assist in the generation of pre-season and in-season SKU-level forecasts to tie back to top-line financials
  • Create new data models in Excel to help accurately forecast inventory and sales
  • Assist with analysis to support inventory purchases
  • Bring in new areas of sales and distribution
  • Run regular weekly and monthly reporting, and run ad-hoc analysis based on business needs
  • Support the merchandise planning team on project management

Experience and Skills :

  • Knowledge of the eyewear market across the region
  • Able to understand , analyze and interpret financial performance data
  • Equipped with 1--3 years of experience in an analytical role,
  • Someone to come in with a strong ability to identify sales opportunities and the ability to create and execute programs to increase sales of existing and new account .
  • Merchandising or financial planning
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly strategic. A numbers lover with a mind for thinking both high-level and in the details
  • A critical thinker with a great instinct for spotting trends in data and out in the fields
  • A master multi-tasker-- time management and organization
  • Be a proactive and strong communicator
  • A strong understanding of retail math (costing, gross margins, turn, etc.)
