Responsibilities:

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager is a key member of the team, managing multiple major wholesale accounts within continental Europe.  You will be responsible for achieving significant financial targets through the development of strategic initiatives and consistent analysis of the business.  You will play a key role in formulating selling strategies that maximize growth opportunities but also provide vital tactical support to the accounts as well.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for driving wholesale revenue in both the UK and Ireland
  • Maintain and expand the current wholesale customer base; identify and establish key new accounts
  • Build the brand profile and increase volume, distribution and profit across all ksny product categories
  • Conduct brand training for new and existing accounts
  • Analyze KPI’s to clearly articulate business drivers and make informed decisions
  • Collaborate closely with buyers and merchandising to maximize opportunities by style; drive monthly and seasonal meetings to ensure business plans are met
  • Recommend modifications to merchandising based on review of best/slow sellers to ensure correct assortments
  • Monitor the replenishment program
  • Manage seasonal market prep and sales campaigns; arrange and conduct sales appointments
  • Provide weekly business updates to European Sales Director
  • Manage logistics along with our Logistics, Customer Service and Finance teams, i.e. weekly shipping and finance reports ; ensure shipments are on time and proactively raise any potential delays or issues
  • Partner with the local marketing team to create marketing plans for specified accounts
  • Partner with both the local e-commerce and marketing teams to ensure all marketing activities are within our KSNY brand and product guidelines
  • Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure all locations meet our global standards are continuously elevated
  • Act as an ambassador for the company and in the interest of the business at all times
Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of experience with the major wholesale accounts across continental Europe; must have account management experience, preferably within the women’s contemporary or luxury brand market
    • 30% travel throughout the territory is essential
    • Ability to work in a fast paced; sales driven environment
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Ability to work with order management systems; familiarity with JOOR preferred, but not required
    • Organized, with high level attention to detail required
    • Maintain knowledge and understanding of competitors and their strategies
    • Awareness of impactful trends in the market place
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to build strong partnerships across a highly matrixed organization
