Position Purpose

Capelli New York is presently seeking a Sales Executive to represent and become a member of our Sales team, to help support the overall strategy of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle existing Accounts
  • Stimulate market growth throughout the retail market, prospecting, cold calling, and networking within that market to include – Convenience stores, “Mom & Pop" retailers, Independent Accounts, Wholesalers, and Distributors. 
  • Conduct professional presentations to prospective and existing customers within a geographically defined territory.
  • Ensure optimal visibility of company products
  • Consultative account management of new and existing client base
  • Sell from an existing product line in all or some categories
  • Work with design and development teams for new product and costing that are specific to this market.
  • Market research and Competitive Store Shopping, to bring price points and product back to the company to help build the business for this market.
  • Read and analyse selling reports and inventory levels to maximize business potential at each account.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2 to 5 years of sales experience
  • Experience in selling to retailers, Wholesalers and Distributors in the Consumer Products industry is preferred.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated strong work ethic.
  • Clear driving record (if needed)
