SALES CONSULTANT – DOE - NYC
Our client is a fast-growing fashion startup company, and they are currently seeking a Sales Consultant to confidently interact and engage with their customers with the highest standard of customer service. This sales-focused role involves efficiently advising, educating, styling, and assisting customers.
Position Overview: We are looking for candidates with luxury fashion experience in sales with knowledge of the luxury resale market. Candidates should align with our positive corporate culture and be self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial-minded.
Responsibilities:
- The Sales Consultant communicates effectively with customers and maintains a sales focused outlook
- Acts as a brand ambassador representing all that the company stands for- offering the highest level of customer service, aiming to delight and surprise
- The Sales Consultant communicates product and customer feedback to the management team
- Takes initiative to build on client relationships
- The Sales Consultant is able to multi-task and coordinate efficiently
- Builds upon strong knowledge of luxury bag trends and designers/brands
- Attends regular training sessions for product knowledge and new arrivals
- The Sales Consultant collects client data
- Partakes in stock takes & processing
- Be flexible with working hours and efficiently deal with any additional ad-hoc requests
Qualifications:
- Positive and self-motivated
- 1 to 2 years' experience in luxury fashion sales
- Passion for luxury handbags is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven sales experience
- Willingness to act as a brand ambassador
- A readiness to excel and achieve
- A second language is beneficial (Chinese, Arabic, Russian)
