SALES ASSISTANT - Sleepwear and Sportswear

We are a Ladies & Juniors Wholesale Clothing Company that has been in business for over 20 years.  We specialize in sleepwear and sportswear. Located in the heart of the garment district, we are seeking a dependable and ambitious individual to be a part of our sales team.

General Summary / Duties:

• Assist the Sales team in their daily activities.
• Greeting customers who enter the show room.
• Handles incidental/small sales opportunities and develop the knowledge/skills necessary to be a successful account manager.
• Preparing for a meeting with clients.
• Respond to emails, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence (Answer any queries they may have, from stock availability and details of special offers to a product’s price)
• Sales assistants might attend trade shows and sales events.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English & Spanish is preferred but not necessary.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs (Word & Excel).
