SALES ASSISTANT

ITOCHU Prominent USA designs and manufactures LeSportsac; men’s and women’s fabrics and finished garments for distribution to wholesalers and retailers.  In addition, ITOCHU Prominent USA works with ITOCHU Japan to develop Japanese licensing and distribution programs for American and European fashion brands.

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our team.   

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS include the following:

• Provides customer service to clients and potential clients.
• Prepares sales packages and follow up with clients.
• Process orders and follow up with buyers.
• Assist in preparing sales presentations.
• Set up new season line sheets.
• Create seasonal swatch cards and switch books.
• Assist with sales presentations in showroom.
• Responsible for catalogue of showroom and duplicate sample lines; sends and tracks samples for PR and/or photography.
• Distributes sales/marketing information to clients.
• Monitors and tracks sales activities; updates sales information for open to sell reports.
• Other tasks/projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required in fashion merchandising or related degree.
• 6+months of sales related experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge of SAP a plus.
• Excellent communication and organization skill required.
• Ability to travel to trade shows or client meetings.
