SALES ASSISTANT or JR. ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Seeking SALES ASSISTANT or JUNIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (dependent on experience)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Sales Assistant position with growth opportunity. You will assist and report directly to VP of Sales responsible for selling all company brands to key accounts. You will be an integral part of servicing key accounts’ requests and departmental needs necessary to maximize sales growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer service: communicate with internal and external partners/clients re: purchase orders, shipping status, UPC’s, samples…etc.; address clients’ requests and issues
• Order maintenance: create and maintain purchase orders, track shipments, work with internal partners in addressing reorders, shipment, inventory, pricing, ticketing needs and issues
• Sales and inventory recaps: generate and maintain style selling recaps; on-order, delivery, available to sell inventory recaps, etc.
• Samples: responsible for all aspects of sample management
• Market week and client appointment preparation- catalog, recaps, etc
• Assist in merchandising showrooms during market week

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree a must and required
• Sales Assitant: 1+ year of related sales experience at a wholesale company or internships preferred
  
• Junior Account Executive: 2+ years of sales experience
• Wholesale experience in Accessories/Shoes a big plus
  
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; knowledge of Excel pivot tables and formulas; must be comfortable with Excel and Word
  
• Exceptional organizational skills; attention to detail
• Strong communication skills- verbal and written
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; meet deadline demands
• Must be a team player with strong work ethic
