RETAIL COORDINATOR, New York - 3+ Year Experience

POSITION SUMMARY:

The 7 For All Mankind Retail Coordinator, NYC is responsible for positively impacting business at retail for a given territory of wholesale department stores.  The Retail Coordinator works in conjunction with 7FAM Account Executives, VP of Sales, Store Line Management, Sales Specialists and Associates and acts as a liaison between 7 For All Mankind and their assigned accounts. 

This role will be responsible for NYC locations.  Focusing on, but not limited to Bloomingdales on 59th Street and in Soho, Saks 5th Avenue and Brookfield place, Lord & Taylor 5th Avenue, and Macy’s in Herald Square.  As new Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus doors open in NY, this Retail Coordinator will cover those locations as well. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Retail Coordinators are responsible for facilitating branch stores sales growth and profitability.             
2. Ensure 7FAM is merchandised well to provide a strong visual presentation with regards to high standards; be certain 7FAM is located in the premiere space within departments and stores. 
3. Ensure product is represented on the selling floor; Ensure 7FAM is featured on visuals/mannequins. 
4. Establish and build strong relationships with in-store management are necessary.   
5. Tracking business- knowledge of door rankings within the retail chain and how doors are trending this year vs. last year.  This information is to be used to impact business. 
6. Provide on-going product knowledge in the way of seminars, collateral, events and creative ways to excite the sales associates and in turn, the customer.              
7. Communicate to Account Executives and VP of Sales and key persons within the company.
8. Provide competitive feedback.                       

REQUIREMENTS:

• Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+   
• Retail Experience required
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work weekends: standard schedule will be working in department stores Thursday – Sunday plus one day of the week spent in the showroom
