RETAIL COORDINATOR - Chicago


Location: Field
Reports to: Director of Retail Coordinator Program

General Overview:

This individual overseas a territory/region consisting of wholesale accounts which they visit regularly.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales numbers, goals and selling for each store’s business to meet and exceed monthly/seasonally plans

• Strategize on how to grow/increase stores businesses with store staff and buying team

• Train, develop and evaluate all store DSA/Specialists/Brand Ambassadors

• Complete detailed reports for each store visit

• Liaison between stores and corporate, communicating information to better serve the clients

• Conduct product knowledge seminars monthly to promote and educate the retail staff and customers about line inspiration, fits and trends

• Act as the face of Elie Tahari through representation of our vision, identity and brand awareness

• Merchandise and fill in the floors based on Merchandise Directives sent from Corporate – also educate specialists on how to do so in between visits

• Hold monthly meetings with department managers to discuss the business trend and opportunities

• Assist in planning events; such as in-store product promotions or focus days through partnerships with stores to drive sales and customer awareness

• Promote contests at the store level among associates

• Develop and build relationships, collaborate with key cross-functional business partners including Department and Visual managers, Stock and Sales team

• Insure there is an awareness of Elie Tahari’s competition

• Responsible for submitting stores re-order requests based on sales and their request


Required Experience and Qualifications: (degrees, specific functional skills, professional experience, knowledge, proven accomplishments etc.)

• Minimum 2 years of retail merchandising/coordinating experience

• Four year BA or BS degree

• Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through

• Proficient in Microsoft programs

• Strong organizational skills

• Detail orientated

• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work well in a team environment

• Travel Required
