Retail Analyst III (Wholesale Planning & Analysis) - CALVIN KLEIN
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Retail Analyst III is responsible for facilitating the growth of wholesale strategy through careful planning and analysis of the merchandise assortment and strategies utilizing point of sale activity and partnering effectively with cross functional partners to understand and address business opportunities and challenges.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Pull history for seasonal business strategy meetings and prepare discussion points on future outlook across cross functional teams
- Develop actionable merchandise plans that will contribute to the strategic objectives surrounding:
- Analyze POS results and partner with sales to optimize merchandise plans
- Develop comprehensive initiative seasonal sku plan incorporating business strategies & opportunities
- Encompass initiatives, i.e. exclusives, pricing and margin
- Ensure initial SKU plan ties back to financial targets
- Handoff initial SKU plan to Merchandising team
- Work with merchandise partners at key checkpoints to ensure merchandise plan integrity
- Provide unit projections & updates for all key production checkpoints
- Report on the anticipated financial results behind strategies set forth

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 7+ years of experience in a retail or wholesale environment, including time as a Planner, Buyer, or as a wholesale analyst
Education: Bachelor’s degree with a business background
Skills:
- Highly proficient in Excel and Word
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and Access
- Knowledge of ACS, 7th On-Line and Tillerman preferred
