REGIONAL SALES MANAGER, Texas/South West
Summary Description:
This position is responsible for the selling of the Men’s, Women’s, Accessory and Children’s lines within the Texas/South West region for wholesale, which includes developing and managing all accounts.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Present clothing line for each season during market to all clients. Emphasize sales based around complete collection.
- Develop business in region to be in line with company’s strategy to elevate the brand in the premium US market.
- Focus on growing Green Grass and Specialty store distribution.
- Locate and pursue potential new clients.
- Produce and maintain target lists for the region.
- Manage all accounts in the district from selling through to follow up.
- Plan and participate in selling events, Market Trade Shows and trunk shows with high image/VIP clients.
- Report product re-caps seasonally to VP Wholesale.
- Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge of the territory’s Men’s specialty stores, Young men’s urban stores, Green Grass accounts, Children’s stores, high-end and contemporary Women’s specialty stores.
- Must achieve targeted sales objectives (volume and product mix) as assigned.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- 5-10 years of experience in wholesale sales.
- Must have strong communication skills including face-to-face meetings, email, phone, and writing.
- Must be able to work well in a team setting.
- Must take initiative to obtain new clients and accounts.
- College degree preferred.
