RECRUITING COORDINATOR

SUMMARY

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and assisting in all aspects of recruitment including: scheduling interviews, participating in meetings, prioritizing with tight deadlines, placing ads on job boards, recruiting projects and reports, interviewing candidates and interns when needed and other Recruiting functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Supports Senior Director of Recruitment with the management of multiple job requisitions on recruiting needs in all levels, including managing all external and internal job postings and communication.

* Prepares and maintains various recruitment activity reports.

* Prepares offer letters and other new hire documentation such as non-competition agreements and any other documents relating to job offers.

* Interviews temporary personnel when needed

* Assists with recruitment for internship program: filters, reviews and analyzes resumes, pre-screens and conducts phone interviews with candidates and communications with hiring managers to understand internship needs.

* Oversees and manages employee referral program, ensuring eligibility of participants.

* Verifies and processes recruitment related invoices.

* Administers skill tests and Pegasus behavioral tests to candidates.

* Develop a pool of qualified candidates by constant networking and attending career fairs

* Research and recommend new sources for recruiting candidates

* Keep abreast of all business activities to ensure that accurate information about the company is expressed to the candidates

* Extend job offer to candidates

* Confer with line & upper management to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties and responsibilities

* Utilize online recruiting job boards to search/identify prospective candidates

* Establish and  maintain relationships with local and non-local colleges, universities, vocational schools, and attend job fairs

* Travel to  apparel industry career fairs

* Conducts Reference checks 

* Performs additional duties and projects as assigned. 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

     * Knowledge of employment laws and practices, particularly regarding recruiting, hiring and on-boarding,

     * Ability to work with a level of autonomy, initiative, and ability to make sound judgments and decisions when dealing with candidates and internal associates

     * Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels in the company

     * Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with applicants and employees

     * Ability to provide excellent customer service

     * Ability to learn and use human resources software applications, such as Taleo and Oracle

     * Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

     * Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to handle multiple tasks. High level of accuracy required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

     * Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology or related field required

     * Human Resources and Recruitment experience preferred
