QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSISTANT
We are Strategic Partners, a major Southern California manufacturer of medical apparel and footwear, and we currently have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance Assistant. As part of our Production team, this individual will carry out the full range of QA support functions including assessing garments, managing projects, and tracking trends.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessment of garments including inspection and measuring
- Perform internal wash tests for all new fabrications, styles, and trim items
- Maintain data spreadsheets and records
- Prepare fabric standards
- Support wash-and-wear internal processes
- Maintain the Sample Archives and record internal wash tests.
- Gather QA data, conduct analyses, and prepare reports as needed
- Log in all packages and send out packages
- Carry out additional projects as requested by management
REQUIREMENTS
- At least three years of QA experience in fabrics and/or apparel
- Knowledge of apparel construction and fabrication
- Well organized with ability to manage projects and create data files
- Solid data gathering, analytical, and reporting skills
- Able to multitask, handle pressure, and meet deadlines
- Thorough and detail minded with excellent quantitative skills
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Excel databases and spreadsheets with multiple pivots
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
