Program Manager, Process Improvements

Job Description

The Program Manager will help lead the HBC digital operations function to improve all item lifecycle processes, identify waste and create a lean photo studio standard.  The candidate will identify opportunities to build synergies and efficiencies across multiple banners (brands) within the organization, enabling process (and technologies) that allow cost-efficient expansion and sharing of best practices, processes, workflows, and assets. The candidate must possess solid strategic, analytical and process improvement skills allowing him/her to thrive in a fast paced environment for one of North America’s premier fashion retailers. The role requires identifying and prioritizing key business needs, quickly identifying actions for improvement and an agile mindset to roll new ideas out, test and improve.   The candidate must also scope, plan and execute multiple initiatives at one time while assuring delivery dates are met while working closely with internal resources assure delivery and integration goes smoothly. Ability to measure and report on all relevant metrics related to program performance to plan.  He/she will work closely with leadership to establish key performance indicators, conduct data analysis and reporting, and analyze and implement process and quality improvement initiatives.


Primary Goals:

  • Develop roadmap of process improvement objectives and strategy to execute
  • Ability to build compelling business cases for operations-related initiatives for presentation to senior management.  In collaboration with senior management, assist in the definition of program scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical, financial and timing feasibility.
  • Analyze current and past scorecard data and performance in support of program approvals and execution to assure adherence to plan
  • Develop schedules and ensure that all programs are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Manage changes to the program scope, program schedule, and program costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Measure program performance using appropriate tools and techniques

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Firm grasp of process improvement, program management, presentation skills, entrepreneurial thinking.  Six Sigma training preferred
  • 8 years or more of experience in similar roles
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project or equivalent.
