Production Manager - Textiles/Linens/Bedding/Domestics

Wanted for Midtown Textiles/Linens/Bedding/Domestics Importer of "Soft home" Bed, Bath and general home use products with highly recognized licensed National brands selling primarily to Dept. stores and Off-Price retailers.

Brands include US Polo Assn, Candies, and Jordache.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to follow up all aspects of Production from placing orders to Factory up to final shipment, including price negotiation, approvals, lab-dips, strikeoffs etc. 
• Daily Email communication with overseas suppliers, and coordination between office Design and Sales teams to overseas suppliers.
• Arrange shipments with Freight Forwarder and Import Broker. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong knowledge of Computers, Excel, Quickbooks.
• Previous Bed/Bath production experience a plus.
• Needs to be highly Organized.
• Must have minimum 2 years Production experience in Home or Apparel.
