POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Coordinator, Store Design & Planning position is responsible for assisting the Creative Team in preparing 3D renderings relating to the creative design direction for all Calvin Klein branded environments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Responsible for working with the Creative Team to prepare 3D design documentation as may be required for prototypical retail environments, showrooms, tradeshow booths, key displays and fixture designs developed by the Creative Services team.
- Documentation includes development of design development drawings from sketches and direction given by the Creative Team. While the primary responsibility is 3D drafting and rendering, the documentation process may require 2D drawings: plans, elevations, sections, and key display elements.
- Interfaces with entire Creative Services team: store planning and visual.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years 3D design experience for an architectural or related design field. Exposure to retail design is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor in Architecture/Bachelor of Science, Interior Design
Skills:
- Ability to conceptualize spatial designs and architectural brand imaging
- Must have EXCELLENT computer skills. Generation of photo-realistic 3D renderings is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Sketchup, V-ray and 3D Max is a must, along with PhotoShop and InDesign
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Good time management skills and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly under pressure
