Production Coordinator - Guess Women's (G-III Licensed Categories)

Overview:

G-III Apparel Group, the world's premier designer and manufacturer of quality leather outerwear, dresses, women's suits, sportswear and accessories, with a comprehensive portfolio of over 30 licensed and wholly-owned brands, including Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Kenneth Cole, Cole Haan, Guess?, Tommy Hilfiger, Karl Lagerfeld, Levi’s, Dockers, Jessica Simpson, Vince Camuto, Ellen Tracy, Kensie, Ivanka Trump, and G.H. Bass, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Development - Receives formal inquiries from merchandise/sales for new styles/orders
• Oversee accuracy of style details of all development on production leadtime charts (PLTs)
• Follow up on all photos/SRS requested for reveiw
• Receive pricing, cost, garments, and negotiate using target prices
• Negotiate deliveries of goods
• Input all costing into system
• Attend all fittings, keep track of approval dates to avoid delivery slides

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Fashion Merchandising or a related field
• Computer Applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, AS400 (a plus)
• Technical knowledge of garment construction (a plus)
• Minimum of 2 years Industry experience
