PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE – Fashion Accessories

A well-established eyewear wholesaler in Los Angeles, CA is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated, production assistant to join our team. This position would be a great fit for the right entry-level candidate with a passion for fashion.

Main Responsibilities:
- manage and coordinate all aspects of the production process from PO creation to the delivery of goods
- monitor and reply to client correspondence & requests
- prepare samples and quotation sheets for client meetings
- organize & maintain samples
- perform QC on incoming goods and prepare them for delivery to the client
- work closely with vendor base and customer base to ensure all issues and inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately

Other Responsibilities:
- involvement in other projects as needed (i.e. inventory system set-up, trade show attendance and planning, follow up on sales leads, etc)

Required Qualifications:
- must be able to work independently and make thoughtful and informed decisions
- strong organization, coordination and follow-through
- must be a team player with a great attitude
- must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Photoshop (or similar program)
- must be a quick learner & good problem solver
- strong work ethic
- takes initiative
- must be able to juggle multiple tasks at once with accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

- experience in retail and/or wholesale a plus
- experience with graphics programs (i.e. Adobe Illustrator)
