PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

ITOCHU Prominent USA LLC designs and manufactures LeSportsac; men's and women's fabrics and finished garments for distribution to wholesalers and retailers.  In addition, ITOCHU Prominent USA works with ITOCHU Japan to develop Japanese licensing and distribution programs for American and European fashion brands.

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Production Assistant to join our Men’s division.  Will be responsible for providing a variety of support in production team; process data and generate routine production reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS include the following.

1. Enter data and information from customer purchase orders.
2. Communicate regularly with vendors and customers and resolve any issues they may have on sampling.
3. Assist in the preparation of samples to be presented to customers.
4. Track customer samples.
5. Provide general office/administrative support.
6. Handle special projects as assigned. 
7. Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in textiles or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in production.
• Knowledge of MS office.
• Excellent communication and organization skills required.
• Must have ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
• Knowledge of Blue Cherry a plus.
