PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT / PRODUCTION COORDINATOR - Women’s and Children’s Fashion Company

Our client, a globally recognized Women’s and Children’s Fashion company, is seeking a Product Development / Production Coordinator to support their cross functional Production and Product Development and Design teams.

 

Salary: $15/hr

 

Position Overview: Our client, one of the world’s leading luxury fashion companies is seeking a talented Product Development / Production Coordinator to join their established team. Founded on excellence the Company now offers a wide range of high quality products manufactured with the greatest attention to detail. Their Children’s, Women’s Apparel and Accessories lines are sold in department and mass market specialty stores nationwide.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with agents/factories to ensure that fabric and trim are shipped and in factory on time in order to meet required garment deliveries
  • Work closely with agents, factories and other departments to resolve any issues that could affect deliveries
  • Work closely with all internal teams including design, production and merchandising
  • Monitor garment Production by actively studying and challenging
  • WIP charts/production tracking sheets
  • Negotiate and confirm all garment delivery sates and ship modes
  • Update/alert sales and allocations of any late deliveries or shortages
  • Work with allocations and traffic on any shipments that need to be prioritized
  • Attend necessary pre-production and production meetings also prepare required reports
  • Assist with projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Background in Children’s or Women’s production and product development preferred
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

 

Education:

 

  • BA in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
