Product Development Merchandising Assistant

 Responsibilities include:

• Report into Director of Product Development and Merchandising 
• Maintain all development submits, organized and filed
• Assist in Scanning images and comments made by product development to appropriate factories
• Work with design & product development to gather and dispatch all color/fabric/trim standards upon placing orders
• Ability to do competitive research and present findings to manager
• Proofread catalog pages during catalog production for content accuracy and manage important deadlines throughout the catalog planning calendar 
• Keep samples organized and up to date for use in merchant presentations (steaming samples, making sure samples are merchandised following catalog layout)
• Facilitate sample requests 
• Gathers all samples no longer needed from prior seasons
• Work as a liaison between sales, design and production in making sure all deliverables are needed for meetings
• Other duties as needed

General Requirements:

• Basic Excel skills
• Basic Illustrator skills
• General office experience
• Highly Detail Oriented (Highly Important)
• Ability to stay organized

Compensation:

Between 32-38K / Year
