PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Prominent Beauty Brand - DOE

Our client, a Prominent Beauty Brand, is seeking a savvy Product Development Manager to join their team in Los Angeles!

As the Product Development Manager, you will support the development process in its various stages from creation to completion.  This includes overseeing initiatives and facilitating development strategies for the brands, as well as coordinating marketing and business elements to ensure that products enter the market successfully.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with exceptional organizational skills.  Your ability to effectively prioritize competing projects in a deadline-driven environment will make you an excellent fit for this multi-faceted role!

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product developers on various development stages
  • Create a project development calendar and monitor timelines
  • Communicate with various suppliers regarding formula, marketing, sample and technical information
  • Help with product launch presentations and the quality control of products
  • Schedule and maintain samples and product worksheets as needed
  • Develop product mock ups
  • File and organize regulatory documentation


Qualifications

  • At least 2+ years of experience in skincare or color cosmetics product development
  • Quick learner with the ability to learn new systems
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs; working knowledge of graphics programs preferred
