Product Development Assistant

Today, Loeffler Randall can be found in more than 250 retailers worldwide, including Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Harvey Nichols.

This role will provide support for the Footwear and Handbag Product Development team.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in preparation of tech packs for initial protos as well as revisions after proto reviews
• Manage proto tracking chart, track packages, check-in product
• Create and track raw materials chart for sampling. Maintain leather library, in partnership with Design
• Prepare BOMs with all leather, trim, and h/w details per CC for salesman samples
• Work with Design and Production partners to ensure development process is moving forward and meeting key development calendar deadlines
• Set up seasonal costing sheets and file factory CBD’s
• Assist with special projects and responsibilities assigned by manager or team
• Assist in material sourcing need for all categories

Requirements and Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook required
• Impeccable organization capabilities
• Detail oriented with strong communication skills
• Able to interact in a group environment with all cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical, multi-tasking, an problem solving skills
• Project management
• ½ years in Product Development, Accessories focus is preferred
• Familiarity with leather is preferred but not required
