Printed Textile Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a Printed Textile Designer to contribute to the continued success of our company by developing highly creative prints and print stories which follow the seasonal point of view.

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Produce artwork on a seasonal basis that maintains the design aesthetic of the brand/customer.

• Design original art work and re-color existing prints

• Color separate and create repeats of all prints

• Work with Design team to engineer special artwork placements

• Color prints into the seasonal pallet

• Prepare all artwork packages for production.

• Communicate with vendors on a daily basis to follow up on developments and comment on strike-off's

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must possess a strong sense of trend and color

• 3+ years prior branding experience within a women’s accessories company (focus on soft accessories)

• Must be a quick learner, highly productive and organized with excellent communication skills, hard working and a team player

• Must have a strong ability to create prints and patterns, a great color and fashion sense

• Advance skills using Adobe Creative Suite & MAC OSX.

• Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

• Must be able to submit sketchbook or examples of original artwork displaying high degree of creativity and talent
