Planner - Men's Contemporary Sportswear

Responsibilities:
• Forecasting Sales, Gross Margin, and Inventory vs. Plan by Department and by Brand/Sale
• Managing Open-to-Buy by division by department to align inventory with sales expectations
• Developing Pre-Season annual, quarterly, and monthly Sales, Margin and Inventory Plans by division and by department
• Partnering with Director of Buying to establish a concise and executable merchandise plan mix pre-season and in-season
• Providing recommendations and executing markdowns with Merchandising team
• Performing rigorous/in-depth Ad Hoc analysis based on historical performance and product attributes
• Supporting the development, implementation, and execution of new business processes and technology
Qualifications

Qualifications:
• 3 yrs exp in planning with 1+ yrs as a planner.  Management experience a plus
• Demonstrated understanding of merchandising financials and ability to manage profitability 
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop cross-functional business relationships at all levels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and recognize and react appropriately to changing work demands
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Comfortable and confident in making effective autonomous (and group) decisions in a timely manner
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
• Goal-orientated, self-motivated and focused
