Photographer-L&T - Soft and Hard Goods Products

Job Description Summary: The Photographer will be responsible for shooting off-figure, soft and hard goods products for our e-commerce site according to our standards. Ensuring that all products are styled and photographed according to our standards without deviation.  The photographer creates exceptional results utilizing their skills and creative abilities to enhance our overall brand for HBC as a whole. The photographer is required to be able to shoot our most complex items including jewelry and may on occasion shoot editorial shots as well.
Responsibilities:

• Product photography apparel on mannequins
• Product photography of hard and soft goods, including jewelry
• Composes shots based on style guides to meet with our vision.
• Use of Photoshop to perform retouching functions 
• Execute highest of standards by setting up lighting, composition, color accuracy, and exposure for each shot.
• Ensure consistency between shots by understanding and complying with daily color management.
• Supports Sr. Photographers and assist in quality control.
• Inspect equipment and make adjustment to cameras and lights for possible technical problems and communicate equipment problems with the necessary parties.
• Meets very challenging daily deadlines while maintaining standards
• Attends meetings as necessary as well as other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Skills:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in photography or related field.
• Knowledge of photographic techniques such as lighting & composition.
• Ability to work within deadlines, thinking creatively to increase productivity and throughput.
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment.
• 3 - 5 years as a photographer in an E-commerce Photography environment
• Experience with Phase One Capture One software.
• Superior Photoshop skills
• Operating experience of Mac OS and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem solving skills, ability to perform under pressure and demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to set priorities, problem solve multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
