PART TIME CASHIER
Overview:
The Donna Karan Company LLC, one of the world's leading fashion design houses, seeks a Cashier to join the team!
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Manage point of sale process between client and sales associate or manager to ensure maximum efficiency
- Resolve all client problems quickly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Provide the highest level of customer service
Operations:
- Thoroughly understand and effectively use all register systems
- Maintain point-of-sale records and ensure organization of register paperwork and receipts
- Effectively execute management functions (if applicable) including returns, opening and closing procedures
- Abide by and support Loss Prevention policies and procedures in all areas of risk management, physical security, store controls, inventory management, inter-store communication and L/P audits and procedures
- Maintain stock and ensure supplies necessary for the point-of-sale process
- Ensure a clean, organized and professional work space
- Participate in bi-annual inventories
- Properly process phone calls, ensure proper greeting and accurate message taking
- Ensure image and grooming standards are professional and are reflective of the brand image, at all times
- Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings, training and seminars
Merchandise Maintenance:
- Ensure proper handling and care of merchandise
- Ensure all merchandise is ticketed and sensored
- Ensure proper packaging and wrapping of purchased merchandise
- Participate in the maintenance of stock levels on the selling floor
- Assist management in the execution of markdowns as per policy and procedure
Qualifications:
Work Experience:
2 years retail experience

Computer literate
