JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Package Designer- Beauty Brand

Start Date- ASAP 

Location- Off-Site

Hours a week- max of 40 hours could be 30 (depending on week).

Description:

The role of the Jr. Package Designer is to enhance product and Brand competitiveness, through modern compelling Package Design. 
The candidate will be responsible for packaging design across beauty categories including phase one design exploration for package redesigns and line extensions of existing brands. Promotional/ Seasonal gift cartons will also be part of the scope. A knowledge of packaging print production is important to ensure Designs are achievable and work within brands guidelines and standards. The candidate will be working with the Design managers from respective categories on specific assignments for new package design development. 

Qualifications: 

The candidate should have a beauty packaging portfolio, a solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, and a modern eye for design aesthetics. Experience with line extensions and building upon existing brands is critical. 

Packaging Design- first and foremost beauty packaging- brand restages, line extensions, ex. start on a design roll out and extend- roll out to new flavors- exporatory work on a restage (phase 1) mixed bag of all those things. Gift sets for fragrance. (Promotional Cartons)
