OUTERWEAR DESIGNER

Our client, a leading outerwear brand, is seeking a temporary Outerwear Designer for their New York City location. Candidates should provide a link to their online portfolios along with their resumes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new concepts and ideas for the brand
• Create innovative designs each season 
• Research current trends and implement them into the designs
• Attend vendor meetings and work on product concepts
• Create visual presentations of trends, new products and merchandising concepts.
• Create and develop stylish, creative, commercial designs reflecting trends and customer’s preferences, while reflecting the essence of the brand

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in outerwear design
• Must send sketch samples with resume, strong sketching skills required
• Knowledge of creating tech packs
• Excellent communication skills
