ORDER MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - Leading Fashion Retailer – DOE

Leading Fashion Retailer in New York City is seeking an Order Management Specialist to support their Inventory Management team.

The Specialist will track inventory from purchase order creation through to the company distribution center. A strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills will thrive in this multi-faceted position.

Responsibilities:

• Creating style/product level purchase orders
• Tracking POs in accordance with in-season activities
• Forecasting accurate receipts for specific divisions
• Working with cross-functional teams on data management
• Completing inventory tracking reports
• Developing an accurate view to inventory through data analysis
• Assessing inventory purchases in relation to inventory plan
• Identifying potential risks and opportunities

Requirements:

• At least 1-2+ years of inventory management experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
• Process-driven and analytical
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Strategic approach to problem-solving
