Oracle EBS Solution Architect

Oracle EBS Solution Architect

 

The Oracle EBS Solution Architect will join Urban Outfitters, Inc. during the testing/deployment of a global Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Financials solution covering the US, Canada, and Europe. The Architect will function as the lead Oracle EBS resource responsible for the end-to-end EBS application. The ideal candidate is conversant in both finance process and EBS applications; able to lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of EBS solutions. The Architect will partner with URBN Finance to complete EBS integration testing, training, and UAT leading up to a February 2016 go-live. The Architect also brings technical expertise to support URBN data conversions, interfaces, limited customizations, and downstream systems. Key Oracle EBS modules in scope include:

  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS)
  • Accounts Payable (AP) plus an Oracle Web Center invoice imaging solution
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Projects (PA)
  • Property (PN)
  • Site Hub (RRS)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the “go-to” EBS Finance expert responsible for solution integration across the work streams and URBN Finance teams
  • Support the Oracle EBS footprint post go-live including troubleshooting, testing, and Oracle SR resolution; EBS patch/release management
  • Translate future URBN finance requirements into EBS design and configuration
  • Design/development/testing of future RICEW customizations as needed
  • Coordination with other URBN IT teams; Infrastructure, Scheduling, BI Reporting, Hyperion, etc.
  • Work with third party integrators to build and test Oracle EBS solutions
  • Support downstream integrations to Hyperion EPM for planning, consolidation, and external reporting
  • Participate in Phase II implementations of Procurement and iExpense

 

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle EBS Financials Release 11i/12
  • Full-lifecycle Oracle EBS implementation experience in a global environment
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle DB)
  • Experience working with Oracle EBS financials database table structure
  • Knowledge of Oracle interface APIs and interface tables
  • Understanding of Canadian GST and European VAT tax
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Retail accounting experience a plus.

Hyperion EPM experience a plus.

MicroStrategy and/or NoetixViews experience is a plus.
