MERCHANDISING OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE, DROP SHIP - Ecommerce

Job Description The Drop Ship associate will manage the relationships and operational performance of vendors on the Drop Ship program at HBC through data-driven analysis and ad hoc reporting while driving process improvements. As the operational liaison between merchandising, vendors, and service providers, this person is responsible for day-to-day drop shipment issue resolution, reporting on vendor compliance with HBC policies and procedures, and training to improve overall vendor compliance. Additionally, this person is responsible for the integrity and quality of data with opportunities to manage projects surrounding cross-banner efficiencies.

*Day-to-day vendor compliance management and issue resolution (including, but not limited to, drop shipment orders, invoicing, and inventory feeds)
*Deliver thorough data analysis to support business recommendations for vendor performance improvement and achieve service levels in accordance with Drop Ship guidelines and HBC standards
*Ensure all vendors are delivering the HBC brand experience according to company policies and procedures with autonomy for independent judgment and initiative.
*Work with cross-functional partners to understand Drop Ship business needs by banner and actively educate business partners on operational excellence to support program development and expansion
*Manage data reporting on vendor compliance and Drop Ship program maintenance and make suggestions for the removal or expansion of vendors based on operational SLAs
*Drive vendor performance improvement on compliance scorecards through communication and training support with vendors across banners
*Identify business opportunities and innovative projects in collaboration with business partners and vendors to further the efficiency of the team and position the program for long-term growth
*Achieve vendor SLA targets and improve compliance levels across banners/vendors
*Support throughput targets by partnering with onboarding associate
*Maintain drop ship program operational standards for vendor and customer service
Qualifications *Bachelor's degree
*Understanding of retail landscape, operational systems and functionality
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills and business judgment
*Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
*Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Drop Ship or e-Commerce operations department
*Minimum of 3 years in retail or B2C role
*Minimum of 3 years in operations or project management
*Technical aptitude with web-based tools and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel
*Demonstrated ability to successfully problem solve and resolve issues in a timely manner and provide rigorous analytical support
*Proven ability to make sound business judgments and influence others to drive ideas and plans forward
*Understanding of business with ability to foresee and react to the impact of strategies and initiatives prior to implementation
*Ability to manage a strong resource workload and incremental business initiatives while excelling at day-to-day responsibilities
*Ability to excel in a collaborative environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams, inspiring a strong sense of camaraderie, accountability, and high performance across teams
*Demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities with willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary
