MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT

Job Description:

Supports all aspects of Merchandise Planning and reports to the Executive Merchandising Production Manager 

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position requires a highly organized and efficient person with excellent time management skills who understands how to manage day to day tasks to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Merchandising:

• Responsible for  updating  seasonal fashion recaps on a bi-weekly basis
• Maintaining Seasonal Merch Plans with weekly updates
• Analyze all seasonal sales information creating well organized and detailed recaps for the executive team.
• Creating and Maintaining Seasonal Sample Chart and communicating all updates to the sales team.
• Organize market information and research product information as needed
• Working closely with Design/Merchandising/Sales to aide In all aspects of Market Prep

o   Sample Review

System Maintenance: 

A supporting role as needed

• Create and Maintain Style Master
• Update Style Status on a weekly basis
• Assign UPCs and NRF Codes
• Upload Styles to Catalogue
• Ensure the Accuracy of all Styles

Weekly style review:

• Support and Communicate Open to Sell, style changes, and sold out to sales and order entry
