MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT
Our client, a luxury fashion house, is seeking a Merchandising Assistant to start at its NYC location. This is a temporary position with potential to become permanent. Candidates should have strong Microsoft Excel Skills as well as retail math skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide product and SKU information to teams, and set up on pre-order if necessary
- Coordinate price change timing and logistics with stores
- Execute orders, communicate purchase orders to vendors and obtain confirmation of receipt
- Log delivery dates and delivery quantities by Brand/PO and close orders
- Provide monthly vendor sales reports to all brands
- Respond to vendor emails regarding product damages/repackaging
- Handle other administrative work as needed
Job Qualifications:
- Buying or Finance internship experience a plus
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
