MERCHANDISE ASSISTANT - Luxury Fashion House

Salary/Rate: $15/HR

This luxury fashion house is known for its monogram that appears on most of its products, which range from luxury leather goods to shoes, jewelry, accessories and more. This is one of the world’s leading international fashion house that sells its products through boutiques, high-end department stores and e-commerce. They are seeking a Merchandise Assistant to join their growing team. 

Position Overview: The Merchandise Assistant assists with clerical tasks and data entry related to specific merchandise departments within the company.

Responsibilities of the Merchandise Assistant: 

• Complete complex Data Entry using formulas in Excel (Vlook-ups, Pivot Tables, Macros will be utilized
• Create and maintain purchase orders
• Properly set up new items on the database and accurately input price changes
• Assist with the develop of weekly sales reports
• Provide Administrative support to the Buying division when needed 

Qualifications for the Merchandise Assistant:

• Advanced Excel skills
• A passion for the fashion industry
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a corporate fashion environment (internship level or 1-2 years)

Education Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree
