Here is your opportunity to join this leading organization and dynamic team as a Marketing Specialist, for our Toronto based office.

 

The Marketing Specialist will have the primary responsibility to execute all operational tasks for their respective channels. He/she will support the marketing strategy put in place by the Marketing Manager. They will be responsible for coordinating in-store and digital marketing programs, delivering product, campaign and brand assets to accounts and the implementation any other tactical needs that are identified.

 

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to) 

  • Execute operational tasks for their respective channel, including special e-commerce and/or wholesale marketing projects
  • Follow strategy developed by Marketing Manager
  • Edit/develop creative assets as needed, via Adobe Suite Programs (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Coordinate and track any account needs by channel
  • Collaborate with account teams (internally and externally) to deliver retail marketing programs for respective channels (digital and in-store)
  • Assist in the development and tracking of digital advertising campaigns, product/brands promotions, events and strategies
  • Assure that online and in-store asset needs are being met while respecting key deadlines
  • Help with budget management of brand assets – digital and in-store POS
  • Work closely with Project Manager on brand specific executions, coordinate with creative team and agency partners as needed
  • Work closely with Manager to create working internal processes
  • Keep track of POS / Brand Asset life span to be able to replace in a timely manner. Manage any seasonal content updates as needed
  • Collaborate with outside vendors as needed
  • Provide actionable insights and tactical recommendations

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years of operational experience within a large consumer based company or agency

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, PR or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Sound knowledge of Adobe Suite Programs
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, high energy environment
  • Understanding of retail marketing and digital marketing

  • Excellent Knowledge of PC and MAC operating systems
  • Success working with various teams to complete projects
  • Superb organizational skills
  • A positive, can-do, customer service attitude.
  • A strong work ethic, high personal values and standard
  • Great customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Digital Asset Management software asset.
