Responsibilities:

General purpose of the position:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the kate spade new york brand strategy across the retail customer experience. This role will provide functional partnership across the organization to ensure that the brand is appropriately represented in new and existing markets. The right candidate will have retail marketing expertise in a fashion/luxury brand business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the day to day needs of the Europe Marketing Department
  • Responsible for marketing programs that continue to evolve the customer in-store experience, drive traffic, sales and awareness, and continue to grow the brand presence in Europe.

  • Find and develop ATL and BTL opportunities with media vendors, landlords and other business partners to drive brand, business and new customer acquisition. Work with partners to ensure all added value marketing opportunities are explored and supported.

  • Develop and implement customer acquisition and retention strategies through CRM programs for retail, outlet and ecommerce.
  • Oversee digital brand strategy across Europe in partnership with Sr Director and Global marketing.
  • Manage retail/outlet content and creation calendar
  • Manage in region Licensed partner relationships
  • Partner with Sr. Director on seasonal/annual budget allocation.
  • Serve as the dedicated retail marketing lead in partnering across the organization, working most closely with Ecommerce, Store Operations, Field Leadership, Digital, Visual, Creative and Project Management teams
  • Liaise with global creative team, external production houses and agencies to ensure project deadlines are met and all parties aligned. To include but not limited to: print, ooh, direct mail and digital media both seasonal and adhoc requirements.
  • Prepare all recaps and ROI to evaluate effectiveness of paid/unpaid investment in ATL and BTL activities.
  • Support cross-channel initiatives and oversee the correct and timely delivery of creative assets and store communications.
  • Track and report monthly KPIs

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Retail Brand Marketing across Europe
  • Highly collaborative individual, comfortable with decision making in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience within a brand leadership role/supportive role responsible for multiple geographies
  • Experience driving Marketing programs in a retail/luxury business
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines across strategic and tactical activity
