Marketing Coordinator
Overview:
The Donna Karan Company LLC, one of the world's leading fashion houses, is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing team in New York. The Marketing Coordinator will support the marketing needs for the DKNY and Donna Karan brand globally.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of the brand strategy for wholesale accounts globally, partnering with the marketing team to develop plans to increase brand awareness and sales
- Coordinate co-op requests from retailers and traffic collateral and needs accordingly
- Assist in the execution of marketing programs with retailers including digital marketing activities, brand activities, advertising and in store activations
- Maintain working document/calendar for open projects and collateral needs to internal and external partners
- Track and maintain report for marketing activities across wholesale and international FSS stores
- General support – coordination of marketing calendar and additional reports and recaps
- Partner with marketing team to oversee development and execution of collaborations and marketing opportunities for the brand
Qualifications:
- 4 Year BS/BA College Degree
- 1 – 3 years of previous fashion/retail/event/marketing/media experience
- Highly motivated and can do attitude/entrepreneurial spirit
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong problem solver who thinks strategically and meets deadlines
- Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Photoshop, image and video files
