At HBC we are a company of adventurers who explore uncharted territory, challenge convention, and work with imagination and fun.     Reporting Relationship: Sr. Manager Supply Chain Solutions/ Industrial Engineer   Major Responsibilities:   This role is accountable for the management and delivery of international, multi-banner supply chain & logistics optimization projects at HBC with a strong focus on inventory optimization. The Manager will partner with Distribution, Transportation, Procurement, Digital Store Operations and IT teams to optimize HBC’s supply chain, identify areas of opportunity, to determine best practice methodologies and establish new processes.   Role responsibilities include:

  • Manage and control cross-functional and cross-divisional capital solutions projects
  • Perform analysis or coach team members on the analysis required to deliver solutions (technology, infrastructure, processes)
  • Develop future engineered solutions for HBC’s Supply Chain and material flows
  • Optimize processes and establish SOPs in order to reduce costs and maximize efficiency
  • Perform analysis or coach team members on the analysis required to deliver solutions (technology, infrastructure, processes)
  • Develop business cases and ROI analysis for proposed capital projects and optimization initiatives
  • Partner with procurement and operations to implement solutions
  • Maintain ongoing communication with all project stakeholders and the PMO
  • Promote and execute Lean Management / Six Sigma initiatives

  Personal Characteristics:   The successful candidate will have 3-5+ years of solutions engineering, process advisory, and supply chain/logistics and or process management experience. This person can demonstrate project leadership which includes driving projects and accepting accountability for project objectives, progress, and quality. He/She has the experience to perform complex analysis and identify solutions to resolve specific business needs. This individual can execute project details in a distribution environment. You are active in presenting recommendations in a persuasive, professional and impactful way.   Qualifications Professional Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodology
  • IT skills including WM, TMS systems, SQL, .NET, Oracle would be an asset, MS-Office is required
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical and creative thinker, proactive solution-oriented approach

    Educational Credentials: 

  • University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business
