The Supply Chain team is responsible for the planning of strategic and operational initiatives to allow the business to drive sales, inventory, and profit objectives. Operating efficient business processes allows our brand flexibility to continue to be an innovator in the field and create new opportunities for the brand and individuals to grow, as well as create customer satisfaction.

The Supply Chain Ops Manager impacts the organization by assisting in the development of strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize all aspects of operations across the supply chain. This role is a key player in ensuring our business processes affecting the entire supply chain from purchasing to customer delivery are efficient and flexible. The ideal candidate will align with the brand by bringing creative thinking and innovation to help drive profitable business decisions and positive customer interaction. As west elm grows and expands in new marketplaces and broadens its supply chain footprint, the planning and execution of efficient supply chain strategies is crucial to maintaining market leadership and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:
* Develop, evaluate, and implement business models to guide business decisions, promoting data-driven strategic change across the supply chain network to improve workflow, profitability, efficiency, and transparency
* Provide analytical support and direction for projects, processes, system upgrades, and new business opportunities
* Identify and communicate risks and opportunities and generate plans to address each
* Balance project timeline and workload against the strategic direction of the company and impact to inventory management, facility capacity, sales forecasts, customer satisfaction, and operating efficiency within set budgets
* Partner with Inventory Management, Sourcing, Distribution Center Operations, and Logistics teams to investigate problems and develop solutions to maintain an efficient supply chain

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in planning, allocation, sourcing, or business operations
* Strong analytical thinking skills
* Understanding of retail supply chain
* Experience managing a team of direct reports
* Time management and communication skills
* Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite
* College degree preferred
