This position is responsible for consulting and compensation support for our international partners including associate compensation decisions and recommendations on programs, policies and procedures to provide a competitive level of pay and rewards to employees aligned to the company’s business strategies.  This position works with the Regional HR teams to ensure that the programs remain competitive, attract and retain employees, comply with government regulations, and are cost effective.

  • Manage and coordinate compensation program activities including annual salary structure design, merit increase recommendations, job evaluations and provides compensation consulting and recommendations for new hires, promotions and any other compensation related decisions in partnership with the HR regional teams
  • Develop, implement, and analyze compensation programs for international associates including consultation on bonus and variable pay policies and programs, procedures & guidelines
  • Provide compensation support for expatriates, third-country nationals and local nationals, including tax equalization, allowances, area differentials, and local market practices
  • Provide consultative compensation technical expertise, advice and guidance regarding policies, market pay practices, trends and applicable laws to HR partners and all levels of management
  • Supports the development of communications to associates
  • Develop and deliver communications and presentations for compensation programs and provide training to our international partners
  • Oversees participation in salary surveys and analyzes the results and incorporates the information into program/policy recommendations
  • Monitor the effectiveness of compensation policies, guidelines and procedures and perform periodic benchmarking of existing programs and recommend changes to existing programs as well as designs new plans and programs which are cost effective and consistent with the company’s business objectives.
  • Drive process improvements based on business conditions and overall strategy 

 

Experience:  

  • Experience working with international partners is required

 

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or related field required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • CCP or GRP preferred
  • Working knowledge of Workday a plus

 

Skills: 

  • 7-10 years relevant experience, including Compensation
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to organize large volumes of data, identify root cause & key details and develop recommendations for change and practical solutions
  • Results and detail oriented/driven, with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture
  • Strong project management, time management skills including the ability to plan project, monitor progress, communicate status, and achieve milestones.
  • Proven vendor management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work under time constraints, effectively managing to due dates and tight timelines 
  • Superior consultation skills and the ability to seek out information and provide quality advice.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Must have expert knowledge of Excel (including formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables) and proficiency with Word and Power Point.
