Job Description:

Gilt Groupe is seeking a Manager to lead Gilt City marketing campaigns, seasonal big ideas/content and select external partner integrations (celebrities, advertising/media partners) to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, traffic and revenue growth for Gilt City.

This individual will be responsible for delivering demand for Gilt City during key moments throughout the year by leveraging consumer insights to develop and execute multi-channel marketing plans; S/he will play a critical role in delivering measurable lifts to revenue (e.g. traffic, conversion, new customers) to help solidify Gilt City as an industry leader.

S/he must have the business depth to interface with Gilt and Gilt City executives and build successful relationships with partners across functions (e.g., Strategy & Planning, Sales, Creative, BD and Finance). Outstanding analytical and presentation skills and a strong eye for detail are required. S/he should be innovative, team-oriented, and an effective communicator, as well as have the desire to participate in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. Passion for e-commerce and lifestyle marketing are a must.

This position reports to the Director of Integrated Marketing.

Responsibilities:
·        Defines seasonal priorities / big ideas to achieve overarching marketing strategy based on customer insights, business trends and prior campaign / tactic results

·        Plans and manages marketing activities designed to increase traffic, engagement, conversion, and meet/exceed annual revenue targets

·        Develops local and national customer acquisition strategies, including both online and offline tactics, in partnership with digital marketing channel teams and local marketing channel teams

·        Owns reporting and recapping approach, presenting performance recaps to key stakeholders for major campaigns / partnerships and generating actionable insights to inform future initiatives

·        Concepts and architects integrated campaign strategies to support key national accounts, major events and strategic partnerships; coordinate with cross-functional teams on execution (Merchandising, Acquisition, CRM, Social, Analytics, Creative, Editorial, Business Development, Public Relations, Legal and Tech)

·        Develops pitch decks for major partnerships by teaming with cross-functional stakeholders

·        Remains abreast of relevant market conditions and competitive trends; leverages insights to shape plans

Manages and mentors 1 Marketing Specialist with opportunity for growth as team grows

Qualifications

·  Minimum bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus

·        4+ years experience required; 2+ years in retail; 2+ years marketing/ecommerce; management consulting or banking experience a plus

 

·        Outstanding oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to problem-solve and conduct quantitative analyses

 

·        Strong Excel analytics and PowerPoint presentation development skills

 

·        Exceptional project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail

 

·        Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities with limited resources

 

·        Proven ability to lead and influence others to accomplish a goals

 

·        Understanding of retail KPIs and campaign performance metrics across online marketing channels including: Email, Mobile, Site, Paid (SEO/SEM/ Display/Affiliate), Social, and CRM

 

·        Experience in developing and executing strategic marketing plans

 

·        Ability to generate and quickly execute upon actionable recommendations based on syntheses and analyses of extensive data

 

·        Strong results-orientation, self-motivation, and high energy

 

·        Strong team-orientation and ability to collaborate with others in and outside of the business
