LUXURY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & SALES ASSOCIATE
Our client is seeking a Luxury Business Development & Sales Associate to work within the Business Development team to drive sales through third party partnerships. Responsibilities of the Luxury Business Development & Sales Associate:
- Research and identify potential candidates for the unique partnership program (personal stylists, personal shoppers, retail sales, wardrobe experts, image consultants)
- Outreach and connect with leads until conversion
- Host calls and/or meetings with partners to activate and maintain client relationships
- Brainstorm creative ways to target new partnerships
- Ultimately drive numbers for purchasing pre-owned designer handbags
Requirements for the Business Development & Sales Associate:
We are looking for candidates with luxury fashion experience in sales and/or business development and have a knowledge of the luxury resale market. Candidates should align with our positive corporate culture and be self-motivated, results-driven and entrepreneurial-minded.
- Deep understanding of the luxury goods fashion industry and the key players involved
- Knowledge of the luxury resale market (particularly handbags)
- 3+ years’ experience in sales and/or business development within the fashion industry
- Be goal-oriented and able to work independently to drive sales and close deals
- Tech savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office (desktop based position) and basic organizational techniques
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Team player, positive and results-driven
- Client book or relationships is a plus
