LUXURY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & SALES ASSOCIATE

Our client is seeking a Luxury Business Development & Sales Associate to work within the Business Development team to drive sales through third party partnerships. Responsibilities of the Luxury Business Development & Sales Associate:

 

  • Research and identify potential candidates for the unique partnership program (personal stylists, personal shoppers, retail sales, wardrobe experts, image consultants)
  • Outreach and connect with leads until conversion
  • Host calls and/or meetings with partners to activate and maintain client relationships
  • Brainstorm creative ways to target new partnerships
  • Ultimately drive numbers for purchasing pre-owned designer handbags

 

Requirements for the Business Development & Sales Associate:

 

We are looking for candidates with luxury fashion experience in sales and/or business development and have a knowledge of the luxury resale market. Candidates should align with our positive corporate culture and be self-motivated, results-driven and entrepreneurial-minded.

 

  • Deep understanding of the luxury goods fashion industry and the key players involved
  • Knowledge of the luxury resale market (particularly handbags)
  • 3+ years’ experience in sales and/or business development within the fashion industry
  • Be goal-oriented and able to work independently to drive sales and close deals
  • Tech savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office (desktop based position) and basic organizational techniques
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Team player, positive and results-driven
  • Client book or relationships is a plus
