JUNIORS & MISSY APPAREL GRAPHIC DESIGNER

A New York based company who is the premier designer, distributor and manufacturer of the most sought after brands of apparel for infants, children, juniors and women. They are currently seeking a Juniors & Missy Apparel Graphic Designer. 

Salary/Rate: $65-70K

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Design Team for both Missy and Juniors categories
• Assist with seasonal and brand appropriate trend research for print direction
• Oversee Associate Designer and create seasonal original prints and follow through to production stage
• Ability to communicate and create ideas efficiently
• Must have positive and collaborative attitude and can work well in a team environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-6 years of experience
• Strong understanding of the Apparel Industry
• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design
• Experience working on print design and repeats
• Must be proficient on MACs and Illustrator and Photoshop
• Candidate should possess strong sketching and hand illustration skills along with technical print knowledge

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field
