JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Perry Ellis International is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer that will be responsible for the e xecution of projects flowing through the Creative Services department for designated brands or brand groups following brand guidelines. We are looking for a creative and passionate Graphic Designer that will succeed in a fast paced environment and be able to work on more than one project at a time, preparing a variety of skilled graphic design and layout work in preparation of various media types.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

     * Execute brand specific electronic and printed materials for catalogs, sales, meeting graphics, e-commerce websites, social media, trim packages, etc. within guidelines established by the Senior Creative Director. 

     * Collaborate with more senior graphic designers to ensure projects are produced to meet Perry Ellis international standards for quality and accuracy. 

     *  Stay abreast of developments in graphic design field to promote creativity and share with team members.

     * Think creatively to produce new ideas and innovate to meet constraints of cost, time and marketing or sales needs.

     * Partner with senior designers as well as Sr. Creative Director and Director of Media Traffic & Print Production as needed to request assistance in order to meet deadlines.

     * Responsible for following workload calendar, and delivering work on time.

     * Will be asked to print, trim, mount, and install graphics as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

     * 1-2 years experience in graphic design with impressive portfolio

     * Required experience in Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Photoshop.

     * Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.

     * Available to work full time Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

     * Strong print and web / digital design ability.

     * Ability to communicate ideas both orally and in writing.

     * Ability to collaborate with others, and come to agreement on process to ensure timing, quality, and accuracy of projects.

     * Willing to learn, excited by new challenges.

     * Strong organizational and time management skills.

     * Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet concurrent deadlines in a fast paced environment.
