JR. ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Men's Division

ITOCHU Prominent USA designs and manufactures LeSportsac; men’s and women’s fabrics and finished garments for distribution to wholesalers and retailers.  In addition, ITOCHU Prominent USA works with ITOCHU Japan to develop Japanese licensing and distribution programs for American and European fashion brands.

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Jr. Account Executive to join our sales team in our men’s division.  Researches new products, product enhancements, and product redesign that align the product development function mainly for print with the goals of the department. Support team in achieving the division sales objectives.  Responsible for communicating with customers and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and the accuracy of all customer accounts. Answer questions about the organization’s products or services.  Process data and generate reports regarding sales, inventory, and other sales and planning activities.  Develop new key accounts with Account Executive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain and service assigned accounts.
  2. Develop and expand current/new business.
  3. Develop new key accounts with Account Executive.
  4. Daily review of open orders and initiate resolution in order to fill orders. 
  5. Timely response or resolution to customer inquiries.
  6. Prepare historical data and margin performance analysis for forecasting and analysis
  7. Prepare analysis in order for management to determine discounts and markdowns.
  8. Assist in organizing and sending seasonal information packages including samples.
  9. Assist with customer account documentation and coordinate the correct setup on all relevant systems including customer’s vendor portal and maintain contract files.
  10. Assist with preparation of standard weekly and monthly sales activity and inventory reports.
  11. Attend trade shows and store visits.
  12. Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in business or related field.
  • 2+ years of sales experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Requires strong attention to detail, organization and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
  • Ability to travel.
