Responsibilities:

  • Write engaging copy that inspires and informs the customer across all touch points: digital, print, packaging, print, wholesale, and product naming/romance.
  • Bring seasonal merchandising and marketing initiatives to life through words and wit
  • Work closely with Senior Editorial Director and brand art directors to conceptualize ideas and strategies for digital campaigns and content.
  • Find ways to package brand content and editorial commerce in uniquely inspired ways that drive engagement and customer curiosity.
  • Partner with the brand art director, marketing and creative marketing teams and merchants to execute content.

Qualifications:

 

  • Ability to work under deadline pressure with excellent attention to detail, as well as a holistic vision
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong portfolio dedicated to inspiring creative approaches
  • Ideas person and problem solver
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to write clearly, concisely and easily, as well as the ability to self-edit and sense-check text
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of style and culture
  • Online fluency (websites, blogs, etc.) and the curiosity to learn more
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different types of people and departments
  • Superb organization skills, with meticulous attention to details and deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt and re-prioritize according to rapidly growing company needs
  • Flexibility to balance editorial and business needs
  • Self-motivation and an entrepreneurial spirit, balanced with a team mentality
  • A positive attitude (and a sense of humor)
  • A broad liberal arts education or equivalent work experience. B.S. or B.A. in Journalism, English or Creative Writing preferred.
