International Market Associate (Travel Retail)

Responsibilities:

  • Support manager in all aspects of business operations including seasonal open to buy by account, merchandising strategies, assortment planning, reporting and sales analysis
  • Overall coordination and maintenance of all relevant reports to ensure consistency and accuracy; prepare and analyze weekly selling reports to include maximizing consistent sell-ins as well as in-season opportunities
  • Assist with international partner management on any new initiatives or opportunities
  • In partnership with manager, coordinate and conduct market appointments and market meeting
  • Cultivate a strong working relationship and partnership with accounts’ buying teams
  • Oversee order confirmation/shipping/charge backs
  • Support pricing and markdown strategy, assist with RTV management
  • Manage and track shipments to ensure maximized timely and complete order fulfillment for all accounts
  • Facilitate logistical duties of market four times per year
  • Manage timely submission of departmental invoices
  • Identify, create, and react to new opportunities to drive business within account and sales team.

Qualifications:

 

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a sales environment
  • Buying or merchandising experience required
  • Ability to manage accounts independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Initiative/sense of urgency
  • Ability to manage accounts independently
  • Culturally aware; experience and exposure personally and professionally to diverse cultures
  • Analytical; retail selling, inventory management
  • Adaptable
  • MS office (word, excel)
  • Proficiency in retail math
  • Minimal travel required
  • Merchandising background a plus
