Job Description

Nine West Group has a great opportunity for a Web Merchandising Intern. The Intern will assist the Web Merchandising team with reports, product and every-day functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Sample coordination for web division – including unpacking of samples, organizing sample closet, and tracking sample borrow requests from other divisions.

    • Creating seasonal assortment sheets and calendar templates.

    • Assisting with markdown lists and markdown entry when needed.

    • Assisting with buy sheet entry when needed.

    • Assisting with daily on site testing and QA

    • Assisting with on-site merchandising, product set-up, sequencing, changing face out colors, etc.

Qualifications

    • Area of study in Merchandising/Buying.

    • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and the ability to meet deadlines.

    • Ability to multi-task.

    • Flexible to the changing demands of business.

    • Strong communication skills with all levels of management.

    • Working knowledge of computer programs (Excel, Microsoft Word).

    • Understanding of online shopping experience.

    • Clear understanding and knowledge of retail math.
