Job Description

Nine West Group is currently seeking an Intern for the Licensing department. This role will assist management with the licensing design development and approval process to ensure the production of on brand product for multiple season markets.  The position will assist management in the coordinator of brand marketing strategies and brand identity standards. The Intern will learn to compile and present retail and competitive selling.  This role will assist in customer service issues to provide excellent customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Attend product development meetings, take notes, and recap with Vice President and Director of Licensing

    • Set up/prep for internal and external meetings

    • Work on account approvals for licensees

    • Create line sheet binders

    • Create fabric binders

    • Assist in compiling seasonal trend binders for licensees

    • Update door counts by brand and classification

    • Research magazine tears by category/identifying trends

    • Organize sample closet

    • Ship samples/design updates to licensees

    • Facilitate sample, print, and trim requests

    • Prepare updates for marketing calls

    • Assist in maintaining logo standard library by category and brand

    • Help prepare organizing NAC samples for photo shoots

    • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

    • Ability to process many requests simultaneously and follow through to completion

    • Highly organized and detail oriented

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal licensing and design teams and external clients.

    • Experience in retail sales

    • Earning Bachelor’s degree
